Hello there. Another day another problem
I have Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 and after 10 - 15 min of inactivity mouse disconnects.
To reproduce the problem:
1) start bluetooth daeom: sudo /etc/rc.d/bluetooth start
2) turn on bluetooth mouse and coonnect to it: sudo hidd --connect m:a:c:adress
3) watch Family guy for 15min without moving mouse
4) bluetooth mouse becomes inactive.
I can press buttons left, right whatever on the mouse I can't connect to it. I have to do again: sudo hidd --connect mac
I found this:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/220152
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/intre … bug/175743
But not the naswers how to fix this.

Hi there. I still wasn't able to solve how can I prevent PC bt adapter from forgetting or not allowing bluetooth mouse to reconnect. So I've experienced a little more. At some point I think I've even type a pin for bluetooth mouse. And I think this is the reason now I'm not even able to connect to it
# sudo hidd --connect bt_adress
doesn't work at all. Even if I press the discvoer button on a bt mouse. I have to execute
hidd --search
but somehow I think due to my set pin to the bluetooth mouse I keep getting messages on both commands:
Can't create HID interrupt channel: Connection refused
Anyway I found this tutorial: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bl … figuration great btw. But it doesn't work in my case. Maybe since I keep getting this note abot HID interrupt channel....
Anyhow any ideas why I keep getting those notes?

I've removed every config file every bluetooth related program and followed again this wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bl … figuration It works now Mouse connects automatically to the laptop's adapter :=)

I've added a section on https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bluetooth_mouse about disabling USB autosuspend for the bluetooth device. It solved a very similar problem I had with a bluetooth mouse.

Thanks for adding it to the wiki, but please leave old topics alone, especially when they're marked as solved.
Closing.
