X fails since last xorg update

So, that's whats happenning since i updated to the last version of X1.

Card is a Radeon, and im using the driver "xf86-video-ati"
How do i start?
I don't really know what to do, since there is no xorg.conf file.... i dont know where to look....

have you KMS disabled? If so, try to enable it.

Thanks... i promise next time i will read a bit before posting......

I removed the nomodeset part of the boot line, and now it seems to work... the first time it booted X, but in less than 10 seconds the screen became unstable... flickering with weird colors,.... and i vad to force-power off the computer......

Now it seems to work..

Whenever i try to set my wlan card to monitor mode, X crashes.... and i have to hard-reboot the whole machine.......

Incredible.... anyone with the same problem?

Wow..... even not setting to mmonitor mode, the x server is doing weird things......... this last x update is a bit buggy..... isn't it?
