[SOLVED] System seems to think its up to date, when in fact its not

Recently when I've run pacman -Syu, my system seems to think its completely up to date, when in fact its not.

I'm looking to run the latest version of chromium, here is my current version: 6.0.472.62-1 I notice that in the extras repository, they are on version 8.

Then I noticed other packages were out of date.
I'm running 64bit version of arch. I've re-run the rankmirrors script from the beginners guide.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

your mirror probably hasn't been updated.

check mirrors here: https://www.archlinux.de/?page=MirrorStatus

And force pacman to refresh its local databases by using -Syy.

Thanks for the help. I deleted the mirrorslist and rebuilt it using: http://www.archlinux.org/mirrorlist/

Then did pacman -Syy
Then pacman -Syu

Everything seems to be updating accordingly.

Thanks again!
