Controling gpointing-device-settings by command-line options?

On my Acer Aspire 5920G I can switch off those mediakeys bothering me all the time by doing the appropriate clicks w/i gpointing-device-settings. I have to do this every startup. That's annoying and therefore I'd like to do this from within my .bashrc. gpointing-device-sttings doesn't seem being built for that use case, or am I missing something here? If I am right, then I wonder if there's a console program doing the same. Or anything else I could do?

Many thanks in advance
