A couple weeks ago I did an upgrade which rendered my touchpad almost useless. It seems that certain parts of the touchpad have become less sensitive than others. For example, if I drag my finger down the touchpad (vertically), the cursor will move, stop, move, stop, for the duration of the drag (a nice slow, constant speed drag).
I've tried playing around with gsynaptics but none of the options seem to improve the situation. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
