KDE 4.5.4 phonon/kmix problem

After an upgrade to KDE 4.5.4 kmix shows only one device (SBLive! EMU10K anolog output) sound does not play anymore on the other output (like the surround output for example).

kmix use to basically mirror the different entries (input/output) of alsamixer. But now it displays only one entry, and sound coming from Phonon plays only on this output (amarok).

Sound from other sources (chromium, firefox) work just as usual.
I tried different backend for Phonon, without success.

And it happened just after my upgrade to KDE 4.5.4 (amongst others programs…)
