hardware suggestion: eSATA-II controller

I'd like to pick up an external case for a SATA-II drive.  From what I've read, eSATA is much faster than USB so I'd like to add an eSATA-II controller to my system and would like to hear from folks who also have one.  Please let me know what works and equally important, what does not work.  Brand/model # would be appreciated.

Re: hardware suggestion: eSATA-II controller

I think hardware-wise it's just a S-ATA controller? So any supported S-ATA controller should work. Mine on my motherboard just works (TM) (or used to - I need to RMA it sad).
