I've tried clive and youtube-dl on a couple, and they fail. Is there another command line way to download these?
ERROR: unable to download video (format may not be available)

I think Google changed sth recently. I hope next version of clive will catch up :-)
FlashGot (Firefox extension) still can download the files and then you just need to separate audio (dump audio stream).
Edit: Ah, you want a commandline way. If Google changed the YouTube format all downloaders will be broken.

Update: Seems that only certain formats may be no longer available: 'clive URL' runs OK here.
I'm using the current version, clive 2.2.19-1.

I use Flash-Get or Download helper and then use the script on my blog to convert them.

While it may not be exactly what you're looking for, this actually does a pretty good job of doing it. Its all web based, so all you do it point the url of the youtube video at it, and it will do the conversion for you.
