[solved]bash history search not working
I have the following in .inputrc
"\e[5~": history-search-backward
"\e[6~": history-search-forwardUsing pageup ,pagedown keys worked some time age.
But suddenly they stopped working. Page up key shows the first entry the .bash_history. Page down keys shows what i have previously written.
Help me please. Thanks .

Merge your /etc/profile.pacnew. Specifically remove the INPUTRC line.
