[solved] downgrade a package in new installation, problem with xf86-v

Dear all,

I installed a new Arch 64 installation on my machine with a Intel Corporation 82G35 Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) graphics card today.

I have xf86-video-intel-2.13 installed on the machine. But there is a problem with X in this driver due to a known bug https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/21854 ..

It is suggested that downgrading to xf86-video-intel-2.12 will solve the issue for now. How do I downgrade in a new installation.

Thanks.
