Aircrack-ng airmon issue

Hello everyone!

I recently performed a clean install of arch with the latest 2.6.36.2 kernel and everything is working beautifully except for aircrack-ng. Also, I am running the ath9k module for my wireless card. Nevertheless, when I installed the aircrack-ng-svn package and ran:

sudo airmon-ng start wlan0 1

I obtain the following error:

 wlan0              AR9285 - [phy0] mon0: unknown interface: No matching device found
                                (monitor mode enabled on mon0) 

I have no idea what is going on. The last time I used aircrack was a few months ago and I had no problems. Can anyone please help?
