Xterm windows don't cover the wallpaper in Awesome3 [SOLVED]

I've included a screenshot to show you what I'm talking about. (look on the right and below)

This is a fresh Arch install with Awesome 3.4.8 which I installed from the AUR using yaourt. This has happened to me on other awesome installs too, what's going on?
