Empty pacman.conf

I'm currently installing arch on my laptop. Everything seems tohave gone smoothly, except a few configuration files are completely blank (/etc/pacman.conf and /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist. Anyone know what's going on?

Re: Empty pacman.conf

Have you checked for install errors (vt5 or 7)? Maybe your iso is corrupted, you could verify the checksum.

Re: Empty pacman.conf

Most likely a error in the package install step. If you did a netinstall, then choose a few mirrors from http://www.archlinux.org/mirrors/status/ instead of using the ones that the installer lists.

Re: Empty pacman.conf

Thanks, that seems to be taken care of! But now GRUB won't install...
