[Solved] Am I outstandingly dumb? Having trouble patching dwm...

So, for example, I downloaded the gaplessgrid patch (among others) for dwm.

http://dwm.suckless.org/patches/gapless_grid

I have gaplessgrid.c in the same folder as my config.h

I added #include 'gaplessgrid.c' to my config.h and modified the layouts so that I should be able to use the patch.

Then when I try to update dwm I get the error that gaplessgrid.c does not exist.

Does anyone know what is possibly going on? I'm having the same problem for each patch I try. Am I doing something really really stupid? I have limited knowledge of c but from what I do know this should be working... right?

Try putting the include file in /src/dwm-5.8.2-2/

Arch + dwm   •   Mercurial repos  •   Surfraw
