wireless connections fails soon after boot

Hi, I have just installed arch, and my internet connection was fine all through installation and configuration.  Now, however, I connect to the internet just after booting, and my connection is fine at first, but then fails after a few minutes and I am unable to reconnect without rebooting.  Can anyone help me?

You didn't tell anyone anything that can be helpful. Details about your hardware will be a good place to start.

...
How do you connect, what kind of network, which drivers, any messages in dmesg?

Wireless network, I connect using ifconfig and dhcpcd, and  no messages in dmesg

Re: wireless connections fails soon after boot

So you are connecting manually from commandline to a unprotected wireless network, the connection breaks without any signs in dmesg (really? try to grep for your wireless interface, e.g. "dmesg | grep wlan0") and when you try to reconnect with ifconfig, what happens exactly? Did you restart dhcpd after reconnect? Does unloading/modprobing the driver module help instead of a reboot?
