Hello!
Sorry if this is the wrong place, i thought it would be appropriate to post here though.
I have been writing a conky script which also displays the running window manager and am curious of some less-common WM names to add to a `ps` command.
So far i could think of:
xfwm|twm|metacity|xmonad|blackbox|hackbox|fluxbox|ratpoison|beryl|compiz|kwin
Can anyone think of some more?
Really i need the process name used (if it differs from the actual name)
Example:
${color 804000}Window Manager${color} ${alignr}${color 555555}${pre_exec ps -ef | egrep "xfwm|twm|metacity|xmonad|blackbox|hackbox|fluxbox|ratpoison|beryl|compiz|kwin" | grep -v egrep | tail -n 1 | sed 's/^.* //' || echo "Unknown WM"}${color}
Thanks!

There are plenty of sources for information for this, including wikipedia, it doesn't merit it's own thread.
Closing.
