loop0 too small for target Truecrypt/device mapper/loop problem.

I *think* this is loop module aka kernel related.

When I try to mount a truecrypt volume, I get a "device-mapper: resume ioctl failed: Ugyldig argument
Command failed" after entering my password and clicking OK. "Ugylodig agument" means illegal argument.

dmesg shows "device-mapper: table: 254:0: loop0 too small for target: start=256, len=41942528, dev_size=23989504"

I haven't really used truecrypt in months, but it used to work fine. loop module is loaded.

Any ideas?

Re: loop0 too small for target Truecrypt/device mapper/loop problem.

When I try to mount with the -m=nokernelcrypto option I don't have this problem. Unstead I get an error that says "mount: you must specify the filesystem type"

No matter what file system I choose to mount as, I get an error, even though I am pretty sure it is ext2 formatted. Could it be that the truecrypt file is corrupted? And why would this give a loop0 to small for target-error initially?
