Well, today I was playing with some CD ripper software and noticed something odd. I am not getting any audio from the left speaker. I have checked all the connections. I have just noticed this issue today. I do not know what the cause is.
It does not matter which source I generate sound with. Nothing comes out the left channel speaker.
Any suggestions? I am going to try going back to the .21 kernel to see if that is the cause. I do not remember missing any channels before or have not noticed. However, both channels worked prior to Arch Linux.
I have the following sound card:
Creative EMU10K1 PCI Audio Driver, version 0.20, 00:14:44 Aug 26 2003
PCI: Found IRQ 9 for device 00:0d.0
PCI: Sharing IRQ 9 with 00:04.2

Nevermind this post... I reconnected the speakers to the sound card. Works now.
