Hello.
After much time of trying to set up my Creative Arena headset to work, I finally managed to do it, but now I faced another problem - the hardware volume control (the + and - buttons on the "pilot" on the headphones cable) don't work, so I need to use Alsamixer. But, when I try to change the volume, it changes very slowly - fractions of dB, so to get from 75 to 74 percent of volume I need to press the key for like 30 seconds. I googled this, searched this on wiki - haven't found anything even similar. The headphones are USB headphones. Thanks in advance for any help.
EDIT: Nevermind, I solved the issue by making two simple bash scripts that allow me to change the volume by specifying amount of dB I want to add or substract using amixer.
