This is probably going to come across as a pretty simple question, hopefully it has an equally simple response.
I'm trying to install the gtk-elegant-brit-theme package from the AUR which requires gtk-engine-mist (also from the AUR) but every time I try to install gtk-engine-mist, I run into a conflict with certain directories (created by the package gtk-engines) already existing on my system. If I remove gtk-engines (pacman -Rns) I can install gtk-engine-mist but then that breaks all my other gtk+ themes and doesn't seem very elegant. Has anybody got a work around for this?

For example...
pacman -Qo /usr/share/locale/te/LC_MESSAGES/gtk-engines.mo
/usr/share/locale/te/LC_MESSAGES/gtk-engines.mo is owned by gtk-engines 2.20.2-1
The PKGBUILD probably needs a provides or replaces.
edit: but it doesn't answer your question, sorry.

The mist engine is included in the gtk-engines package.
I would change the depends on the elegant brit pkgbuild.

Worked perfectly, thanks. Wish I would've realized the solution was so simple before. I'm not generally a big fan of monkeying around with things that I don't really know (and I haven't really messed around with the pkgbuilds before) but changing the "depends on" was straightforward enough, even for me. Thanks again.
