KOffice 2 - can I save as anything other than ODT?

In the KOffice 2 version of KWord, the only save options seem to be variations of ODT. No RTF, no DOC (not even old versions of DOC). The old (KOffice 1) version of KWord was able to save in those formats with no issues. Both seem to be able to open DOC and RTF files without a hitch though.

Is there any way to make KWord allow saving in these formats? Or has support for that just been dropped entirely?

Re: KOffice 2 - can I save as anything other than ODT?

Have you tried forcing the save as <file>.doc from the save menu?

I tried it just now and it would appear to work although I don't have any other editor I can test on

edit: On the KDE forums it says koffice-kfilters and wv2 are needed (both are in [extra]) - src: http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=96&t=88165

Ah... Thank you very much!

Edit: still doesn't work. No menu option, and if I enter $filename.doc it just saves it as an ODT file with the wrong extension.
