My system is up to date. I use kde4. SMplayer(and mplayer) play video with a bad broken audio.
I don't install the gstreamer-plugins, it seems too much addtional packages. anyway, I can playback.
I've tried phonon-xine(default is phonon-gstreamer) and pulseaudio, broken.
If I tried mplayer in twm(not in kde), fine.
smplayer in twm, broken.
in kde, when playing mp3 with mplayer, if I active a qt window, the sound get worse immediately.
If I minimize the smplayer window, the audio will be better than it actived.
So, the problem is gstreamer? phonon? or the other part of qt?
