I have a problem since yesterday. I use to use mpd and mpdscribble for scrobbling for lastfm. Since yesterday out of nowhere scrobble stopped working. Songs are being on my profile like now playing but when I change/changes to another music this track isn't 'saved' at profile and start playing another one. Like this no music is scrobbled at all.
I saw the mpdscribble log and everything seems correct for me.
I though it was because of mpdscribble so I tried mpdas and scrobby. Both worked for like a small amount of time and then same problem as mpdscribble.
So I decided to install clementine that has it own scrobbler. Same problem as well.
Anyone have an idea about what's going on or has the same problem? Maybe lastfm api changed again?

It has just appeared in your library roughly every 3-5 minutes for the last 48. I have known last fm to be a bit slow.
edit: I'm having the same issue with tracks not scrobbling so it's almost certainly something their end
edit2: There is a thread on last fm forums here http://www.last.fm/forum/21713/_/663913

Yes I know. I have been listen music for hours. As you can see in 1 hour I could listen more than just 7 songs. Scrobble works now and then. Sometimes works and sometimes don't. Start to 'eat' a song and then stopped to 'save' on my profile. Not sure if you understand what I mean.
The ones I have more songs listen was when I was using clementine that was working perfectly like 2-3 hours ago. So I though that was a mpdscribble problem. Then like 1 hour ago stopped working like mpdscribble so I though that wasn't only mpdscribble...
edit: just saw your edit now. So I guess that must be Lastfm problem... sigh... I have 2 friends that don't have this problem at least for now. One using foobar (windows user) and another using rhythmbox but I think he didn't noticed yet.
edit2: I saw the link you show me and as well I saw another link. This one http://www.last.fm/forum/21713/_/664750
Tracks are not being showed on the first page though if we click see all they appeared as scrobble... So is a lastfm problem and not a scrobble problem. Just checked with my profile now.
Since this seems a lastfm problem and not any scrobble problem I will mark this as solved. Sorry for the inconvenience

My temporary solution is use the "Connections to other services" option in my libre.fm profile and connect it with last.fm.

That really is more of a permanent solution: last.fm's API is so pathetic, you are far better off scrobbling to libre.fm and pushing to last.fm from there - safe in the knowledge that, at least half of the time, your music won't show up in last.fm no matter what you do...
