weird font in openoffice/libreoffice menus

Hi guys

I've done a fresh Arch install with GNOME. Everything runs fine, but I cane across a weird problem with openoffice. The font in menus are just stars and rectangles, as seen in the screenshot, link below

it doesn't happen in any other program, tried libreoffice as well and it has the same issue (probably because it is pretty much the same thing). any ideas? I tried googling this problem, but didn't find anything.

Re: weird font in openoffice/libreoffice menus

Hi,

Follow the guide
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Op … e-shooting
It works. You must do the settings while the menus are in chaos characters. The following images show the places where you must modify the settings in OO.
Press OK if a step is complete. (OK is two "stars".)

For me, this fixed it and worked for libre as well.
