LXDE - Forcing AWN Compatability

Hello everyone,

I've got LXDE installed, and am trying to replace lxpanel with AWN. So far I've managed to do so for everything except the Quit-Logout applet and the Shutdown applet. From what I've been able to glean, they are designed for gnome, and are attempting to call the gnome shutdown menus. I'd like to change this to call lxsession-logout when the shutdown applet is activated.

The shutdown applet calls quit.py --shutdown

Quit.py also codes for the behavior of the quit-logout applet, which is a lot more complex. However, all I want to change is the behavior of the quit.py --shutdown command.  Here is quit.py:

So, I don't know python, so can anyone help me figure out what to change in the above file so that running quit.py --shutdown calls lxsession-logout?

Thanks!
