[solved] vm (virtualbox) crashes with ipod nano/touch mounted

Hi

BIG EDIT:

I've got virtualbox 4.0.0-3 installed. I'm running Windows xp (sp3) as a guest.
USB works fine. But when I plug in my ipon nano 6g windows crashes, respectively the vm aborts.

the log file ends with:

00:00:36.025 VUSB: attached '0a13ef00[proxy 05ac:1266]' to port 1
00:00:36.036 OHCI: USB Operational

On another forum another arch linux user reported the same on x86_64 system wheras mine is 32 bit. This user also installed windows 7 and not xp.

So I'm still wondering where to look for it ...

Any clue highly appreciated.

Solved by installing virtualbox_bin from aur.
