looks like something is getting jacked up with the ath3k bluetooth driver using both the ARCH kernel and custom configured/compiled kernel. The obvious sign is that bluez no longer works (hcitool dev) and there is now error mesgs in dmesg:
ath3k_load_firmware: Can't change to loading configuration err
ath3k: probe of 3-2:1.0 failed with error -5
can anyone else confirm this issue ?

Moved to testing.

2.6.37 was moved to Core and I'm seeing the same issue.
The atheros bluetooth adapter in my Asus at3n7a stopped working.
Did someone find any fixes or workarounds for this issue?
No hci adapters found and following errors in dmesg:
dmesg:
Bluetooth: Atheros AR30xx firmware driver ver 1.0
ath3k_load_firmware: Can't change to loading configuration err
ath3k: probe of 3-6:1.0 failed with error -5
usbcore: registered new interface driver ath3k

Same error here. I've got an Asus AT3IONT-I Deluxe.

Is there any solution for this? I suffer from the very same problem.

Create your own thread; link to this one, if necessary, and include your own setup details, error messages etc
