proper xorg.conf for logi trackman marble fx?

Hi, I fetched my old track man marble fx (logitech) out of a box, as my doctor told me my hand had a "mouse syndrome". I should use a trackball instead of a mouse ....

So, I am here to set it up. I would really love to have it using the "wheel button", the little red one. If it is pressed, moving the trackball is translated in scrolling a wheel.

I found a lot of help reading really old forum postings for suse 5.2(!) and so on. But things won't do as they should, the trackman behaves like a three buttoned mouse. I wonder if it could be a little difference wether one uses xorg or xf86.

Here is a snipplet of my xorg.conf, if anyone is interested in:

Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier "TrackManFX"
    Driver "mouse"
        Option "Protocol" "MouseManPlusPS/2"
        Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
    Option "Buttons" "4"
    Option "XAxisMapping" "6 7"
    Option "YAxisMapping" "4 5"
        Option "EmulateWheel" "1"
        Option "EmulateWheelButton" "4"
        Option "EmulateWheelInertia" "12"
    Option "EmulateWheelClickToo" "0"
    Option "InputFashion" "Mouse"
    Option "SendCoreEvents" "true"
EndSection

Any hints or help will be welcome.

There is little difference. I hoped someone else would use the old trackball.
