[SOLVED] action on usbstick mount/unmount (gnome/hal/what?)

Hi!

I'm not entirely sure who mounts my usb-sticks, but I want to have a bash script started whenever sticks with certain names are attached or removed (context menu "unmount / safe unmount"). Where do I start looking? HAL rules? Nautilus?

Thanks!

Maybe search forums and wiki first, most of this has been covered many times before

I guessed so, but I need a starting point. Maybe I'm just searching for the wrong stuff again. If someone could just point me to the (/one of the) right config file, manual or whatever would be great! For some reason now I started reading the polkit docu and I'm afraid I'm totally off the track there. -.-"

argh, thanks, I totally skipped udev, no wonder I couldn't find anything! Wouldn't have thought it's that simple.
