Spotify Under Wine

I am able to run Spotify under wine successfully but am unable to choose which device I want to output the sound to.

I am currently using pulseaudio.

I have a USB Headset. This is the device which I am trying to listen to spotify through. However, I am only able to listen through my speakers or any device I plug into my headphone port on the computer.

If you need any additional information please let me know.

Jonathan.

Re: Spotify Under Wine

I'm not sure, but wouldn't that be entirely up to pulseaudio? In that case you should be able to choose it from any pulseaudio mixer, for example pavucontrol.

Re: Spotify Under Wine

That's what I would have thought. However, it seems to ignore the pulseaudio settings.

I have alsa-plugins installed, is it possibly that wine is using alsa instead?

Re: Spotify Under Wine

Maybe you should take a look in winecfg and hopefully see something?

Re: Spotify Under Wine

I had a look in winecfg and it is currently set to alsa so there doesn't appear to be a problem there.

How would I go about setting a default device in alsa? I remember it being something along the lines of a .hidden text file in my home directory.
