Asus A52J bugs

I recentlly bought an Asus A52J. The headphones dont work but the ATI SOMETIMES works perfectlly (i installed fglrx, now catalyst module).

The sound card is an HDA Intel Conexant CX20585.
Well, apart from this my arch is 32bit when the processor is 64. I did that cause i though that 32bit version was more compatible.
Maybe is the cause of all these problems.
