[SOLVED]Non-English Characters Issue

I have a file that should be named Gцtterdдmmerung but the ц and д are replaced with question marks. The file is listed as non-existent in the file browser (which is Dolphin - I run KDE 4.5) - I cannot access it at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: [SOLVED]Non-English Characters Issue

Do you have the correct locale (utf-8) + the KDE-specific settings OK? Does your font have the needed glyphs?
I have no problem listing a file named like this in the terminal.

Re: [SOLVED]Non-English Characters Issue

It seems to be an issue with these particular files - I can do this

 touch Gцtterdдmmerung
ls
 ...
 Gцtterdдmmerung
 ...

and it even displays in the file browser.
EDIT: I was able to fix it myself. I just used the magic of tab completion and renamed everything via the terminal. The names must've been somehow damaged - the files are intact! Thanks for the attempt at helping - it is greatly appreciated.
