SLiM not logging in

I have Arch installed in a VM. I installed SLiM about an hour ago, and I keep getting "Failed to execute login command" every time I try to log in. I've got .xinitrc setup for xfce. It looks exactly like the skel .xinitrc except with the "exec startxfce4" option uncommented. What should I do?

Re: SLiM not logging in

Try

exec ck-launch-session startxfce4

Assuming you have set up as per wiki

Re: SLiM not logging in

When you're at the login screen, can you hit Alt+Ctrl+F1 to switch to a console, log in, and then post the contents of 'cat /var/log/slim.log', please?
