Search the forums and read pacman's messages. You need gvfs for trash support

How come i need gvfs now, when i did not need it before ? Also isnt gvfs associated with gnome desktop etc ? Anyway its not a big issue as i have a cronjob that deletes the trash files daily

Xfce got updated to 4.8 and the new version of Thunar needs gvfs for Trash. Also if you're considering PCManFM, it needs gvfs for Trash too.

I dont use xfce or gnome, i am running arch & openbox only

Yes I know. Im simply saying that Thunar is part of Xfce so Xfce 4.8 includes a new version of Thunar (1.2.x).

It works when you launch thunar with:
dbus-launch thunar
I had the same issue with Awesome.
