pacman.log shows same old and new version "(4.8.0-1 -> 4.8.0-1)" etc

When I look at pacman.log after a "pacman -Syu" I see entries like this:

[2011-01-20 18:41] upgraded dmxproto (2.3.1-1 -> 2.3.1-1)
[2011-01-20 18:41] upgraded libburn (1.0.0.pl00-1 -> 1.0.0.pl00-1)
[2011-01-20 18:41] upgraded libisofs (1.0.0-1 -> 1.0.0-1)
[2011-01-20 18:41] upgraded libx11 (1.4.1-1 -> 1.4.1-1)
[2011-01-20 18:41] upgraded libxaw (1.0.9-1 -> 1.0.9-1)
[2011-01-20 18:41] upgraded printproto (1.0.5-1 -> 1.0.5-1)

It doesn't seem right to me that the old and new versions are always the same.

What your log shows looks like a "pacman -S ... " on an up-to-date package.  Have you got any aliases etc. that could be causing this?

it might be that I used  'clyde -Syu --aur' instead of 'pacman -Syu'
