Firefox 4 Branding

Hi. i'm trying to brand firefox 4 from minefield to firefox. It was easy with firefox 3 as i used firebrand to do the job. I need help with firefx 4. I cant find en-US.jar but instead i found brand.dtd in an archive called omni.jar. I changed the brand.dtd and brand.properties and created a new omni.jar archive. Now, when i try to run the program i get crash dialog. This is my output in the terminal.

Have you tinkered with the firebrand script at all?  It's not very complicated to do.

It's been awhile, and I don't have it installed currently, but, in my experience all you had to do was to change a path statement or two in order to get it to work.

[edit]I see why that script doesn't work anymore.  The script opens up a jar file that doesn't exist in 4.  The default icons are just there.[/edit]

I installed firefox-beta-bin from aur which has the firefox-beta branding instead of minefield-beta. But still if there is a way to change the branding in firefox 4, please let me know.

I was going to suggest aur package too. Just curious though, why exactly do you want the official branding?

No reason actually.. been using namoroka for a long time. just wanted to see the name firefox again.

yeah well, its still in beta. i'm gonna enjoy the brand firefox beta while i can..
