Blackscreen Thinkpad x201

Hi,

while booting arch install I get just a black screen after switching resolution.
So I never see the cli and I cannot install...

I thought it's a known problem but I cannot find any related threads...
Could anybody help me with that?

as always I found (perhaps) a solution right after creating the thread
I will try that this evening and report any results.

using Intel graphics?
I've had similar issues, solved (partially) by adding nomodeset to the kernel line.

Hi,

I had the same Problem an the Option "nomodeset" helped.
