e17 no applications showing in ibar

its weird a new install of arch and e17 everything seems to be working fine but i try to add apps/icons to an ibar and there are no selections in the dialog. no icons in the main e17 menu (left click) except for a few but the apps launch and show there (names only mostly eg pingus has an icon and file manager but no others)

ive searched for hours but nothing like my problem, that i can find. ive tried to reinstall e17 and e17-extra tried to copy applications.menu from /etc/xdg/

is it a bug with this version (i have 3 computers/laptops running the same software, e17 etc) or something im missing.

If they show in the menu but not in the dialog for ibar it seems like a bug. Could you tell how you installed e17? e17-svn , easy_e17.sh (in which case what revision) , other?

pacman & nothing installed from aur at all

hopefully the next release fixes it ill just use menu until then, unless i can find a fix...

it does sound like a bug right? ive used e17 for awhile now but never had this problem.
