hi all...
this would be very brief post...
I have installed q4 form aur and copyed files from cd as manual is saying...
now when Im trying to run it by "quake4" command screen goes dark and than back and frame of some window (which is allways black so I cant see what is going on)appears, but then system freeze and I can only restart whole X server.
anybody experiences this kind of trouble?

What video card?
With nvidia, quake4 is unstable for me, unless I first run:
nvclock -a flipping=0
Bizarrely, it's the only game I've seen that needs this.

Which Intel video card? It might be an issue of bad drivers on unsupported shaders. Do you have any terminal output?

after last update, with new kernel, its pain... wifi,graphic even shuttdown dialog wont appear after pushing power button and X have to be restarted...

Q4 simply dies because your Intel chip doesn't support S3TC (at least at driver level)
Edit:
Check out if your graphic adapter supports S3TC at all. The radeon wiki mentions a similar error message if the corresponding lib is missing:

1 Quits with "Sys_Error: Texture compression unavailable" if libtxc_dxtn.so is missing. Otherwise unplayable with software fallback for two-sided stencils. This is a known issue.
Not shure if this helps for you Intel HD though....
