Epson T27 printer.
I initially deleted hal (...!hal dbus...) from my system.
cups ghostscript gsfonts gutenprint foomatic-db foomatic-db-engine foomatic-db-nonfree foomatic-filters --- installed first.
Then I installed PPD form AUR (by avasys) for S21...T27 printers:
epson-inkjet-printer-stylus-s21-series-1.0.0-1lsb3.2.src.rpm (BTW I had to edit PKGBUILD. Proper md5sum of current src file has changed)
CUPS couldn't see my printer (to add printer) until I added "!usblp" to MODULES. After that cups showed epsonT27 printer connected to USB, and I successfully added printer.
After test page printing I get:
Status:
Idle - "/opt/epson-inkjet-printer-stylus-s21-series/cups/lib/filter/epson_inkjet_printer_filter failed"
And my http://localhost:631/admin/log/error_log is:
Job stopped due to filter errors; please consult the error_log file for details.

But I just don't get what am I suppose to do. I had no problems with hal-free ubuntu and epsonT27.
