Am I right that the OpenOffice 3.3 package doesn't ship any extensions anymore? I did a quick search using
pacman -Qil | grep oxt
but didn't find anything.
Are they provided by any other package or is the only way to get them using the Extension Website from Openoffice (which is extraordinary slow most of the time)?

You should now use the fork libreoffice instead of openoffice...
Moreover there is some extensions of libreoffice in extra repo.

Ok, thats good to hear. Do you know if openoffice extensions are compatible with libreoffice. Because the main reason why I installed Openoffice instead of LibreOffice is a proprietary extension that I depend on.

It should currently, but may not in future.

Packaged LibO extensions are not compatible to Oracle OOo!

Ok, seems not all OO Extensions are compatible with LibO. At least mine aren't.
