[SOLVED] Thinkpad X201 wireless intel N-6300 lost connection

Hello, All!
I've just installed Arch on my bran new X201
Everything looks OK except wireless network.

I've managed to configure, using Network Manager Applet

Normally it works. But time-to time (for example if I live laptop unattached for a few minuts) I can' not connect to the Intenet.

NetworkManager shows that I've been connected to the wireless network.
Ifconfig shows:

wlan0     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:24:D7:69:3E:24
          inet addr:192.168.178.32  Bcast:192.168.178.255  Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST  MTU:1500  Metric:1
          RX packets:512 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:679 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
          RX bytes:254435 (248.4 Kb)  TX bytes:128887 (125.8 Kb)

iwconfig:

wlan0     IEEE 802.11abgn  ESSID:"taiga"
          Mode:Managed  Frequency:2.432 GHz  Access Point: 00:1C:4A:A2:DD:50
          Bit Rate=54 Mb/s   Tx-Power=15 dBm
          Retry  long limit:7   RTS thr:off   Fragment thr:off
          Power Management:off
          Link Quality=70/70  Signal level=-34 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0  Rx invalid crypt:0  Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0  Invalid misc:0   Missed beacon:0

Then I have to reconnect, and it works.

Normally,  If I run ping www.google.com, it does not failed.

Any Ideas?

Unfortunately, there's a bug in the driver or the firmware that causes issues when 802.11n is active.  The workaround is to disable it.

sudo modprobe -r iwlagn
sudo modeprobe iwlagn 11n_disable=1

You can follow the bug report here:  https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16691

Thanks for the fast replay. I'm really glad that moved to Arch from Ubuntu: Documentation is highly relevant and forum nice.

At the moment everything looks OK. That is surprising me... May be i was just bad day.
Nevertheless thanks a lot. Will check try this solution later if problem will appear one more time.
