[Solved] flashplugin wrong directory

Hey,
Im trying to install the flashplugin-prerelease 10.3.162.29-4 from the aur.
It installs just fine but in the end it doesnt work. So I get the feeling that the plugin isnt installed in the right directory.
How to check that?

Thx 4 help smile .

Re: [Solved] flashplugin wrong directory

Hi

Run

pacman -Ql flashplugin-prerelease

there should be a line saying:
flashplugin-prerelease /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so

Then look if the file is really there.

In firefox type about:plugins into address line to see all loaded plugins:

Re: [Solved] flashplugin wrong directory

the line is there, but the file is missing. When I try to reinstall it I get this warning:
warning: directory permissions differ on usr/lib/mozilla/

Re: [Solved] flashplugin wrong directory

Permission should be 755, if not change it with

chmod 755 /usr/lib/mozilla
