Hi all,
I am trying to do an upgrade and am having issues ... I get the following when trying the upgrade ..

Any suggestions on how to handle this, do I have to force the un-install .... seems like not a good way to proceed ..
As this is a laptop I use evey day, I don't want to break it .. :-0

does catalyst work with the normal arch kernel, if yes then remove the unsupported stuff.
I'd say check the ATI/AMD wiki

catalyst-test is kinda old now, it's only updated when AMD is releasing ubuntu beta driver with fresh xserver support ;P
please:
# pacman -Rd catalyst-test
and install newest catalyst and catalyst-utils packages
And yes, wiki is a good place to find extra infos and candies ![]()

Doing the "pacman -Rd catalyst-test" thing, solved it, now can upgrade as normal.
