PCManFM fails to open desktop folders (explained inside)

I'm using pcmanfm 0.9.8-2 and libfm 0.1.14-2 from extra. This is how to reproduce it:

$ pcmanfm --desktop

- double click on various desktop folder icons (PCManFM opens them correctly)
- close the last remaining open PCManFM window using Ctrl+W or Ctrl+Q (or selecting these options via "File > Close Tab" and File > Close Window")
- try to open a desktop folder by double clicking it
- see terminal for output

Output:

(pcmanfm:7856): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_statusbar_push: assertion `GTK_IS_STATUSBAR (statusbar)' failed

I can still open them by right clicking and selecting "Open in New Window". Is this eligable for a bug report or is there something else going on?

Sounds like a bug to me. The current version of pcmanfm is in the process of a complete rewrite, so there are still quite a few bugs in it. If you need a more stable version, you might want to take a look at pcmanfm-mod.
