increase the pointer area

that's it.. is it possible to increase the mouse pointer area?
not the cursor image, but the area upon which the click takes effect!
i'd like to make it easier to grab the window edges and so on..

Re: increase the pointer area

Wouldn't that break a lot of things? IIRC the pointer area is only one pixel big.

I can't remember it, but I'm sure there's a key combination you can hold down while clicking and holding anywhere on the window you want to resize then dragging. The same as Alt+LClick will move a window.

Re: increase the pointer area

The only thing I can think of is lowering your resolution, making everything bigger, therefore easier to position you mouse over accurately. I'm pretty sure you can't increase the mouse's click area. (Don't take my word for that though)

Re: increase the pointer area

maybe i'm just too used to windows' precision enhancement algorithm, which works great when you speed up your pointer. i see i'm not the only one who misses that: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=277063
nevermind, i'll learn to be more precise smile
