Unable to boot into Arch [Solved]

My system froze during pacman -Syu (maybe while it was making the new kernel).
And Now, I am unable to boot into arch (even with fallback kernel).
I get some errors like:
fixing recursive error but reboot needed
Watchdog detected hard lockup on CPU0
comm: swapper tainted G D W

Re: Unable to boot into Arch [Solved]

I'd boot from the install media and do an fsck manually.

Re: Unable to boot into Arch [Solved]

I'm not sure if fsck can solve a kernel panic....

Re: Unable to boot into Arch [Solved]

You need to rebuild your kernel image using mkinitcpio while chrooting into your arch install from a live cd. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Chroot and https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mkinitcpio.

Re: Unable to boot into Arch [Solved]

You were both right I guess, I was not able to mount my partition through the live cd. So I fscked it and mounted it and rebuilt the kernel. The problem is solved. Thanks
