"exit fullscreen" problem with catalyst driver

hi. i have an ati radeon hd 4200 graphics card
recently install catalyst  from aur. everything work fine but whenever i exit fullscreen mode (games, videos) i have screens like this:

(when i use xf86 driver, this problem does not appear, but games and 3D apps run very slow)

please help!

Is it back to normal, when you change to console (strg+alt+f1) and back to X again (strg+alt+f7)?

If you use the new "Tear-Free" function, try turning it off in amdcccle. If you use compositing, try turning it off.

i turned "tear-free" off and the problem disappeared
