LT2106U Netbook - any issues with arch on these?

I have a gateway lt2106u netbook and I'm looking to put arch on it and just wanted to know if anyone else had this model netbook and had any issues or what not with it.  Also, would it be best to try a network install since I've got no cd drive to connect to this and no spare usb drives or would that be more trouble for someone kinda new?

What kind of information would I need to post to get some better input on this?

Also, for some chance I need to go back to the windows that's on here, what would be the best way to backup the recovery partition since that seems to be the only way to recover this is something went wrong.
