hi all
i've just switched to Xfce and decided to use networkmanager with it.
however i have a strange problem. networkmanager acting unstable. let me explain the problem:
it usually shows wired and wireless networks disconnected, but sometimes it shows wireless networks. After connecting some wireless networks, it disconnects again.
Here's error log from /var/log/errors.log
Mar 4 13:16:24 localhost NetworkManager[3863]: supplicant_interface_acquire: assertion `mgr_state == NM_SUPPLICANT_MANAGER_STATE_IDLE' failed
Mar 4 13:16:26 localhost NetworkManager[3863]: supplicant_interface_acquire: assertion `mgr_state == NM_SUPPLICANT_MANAGER_STATE_IDLE' failed
Mar 4 13:16:29 localhost NetworkManager[3863]: supplicant_interface_acquire: assertion `mgr_state == NM_SUPPLICANT_MANAGER_STATE_IDLE' failed
Mar 4 13:16:31 localhost NetworkManager[3863]: supplicant_interface_acquire: assertion `mgr_state == NM_SUPPLICANT_MANAGER_STATE_IDLE' failed
Mar 4 13:16:33 localhost NetworkManager[3863]: supplicant_interface_acquire: assertion `mgr_state == NM_SUPPLICANT_MANAGER_STATE_IDLE' failed
Mar 4 13:16:35 localhost NetworkManager[3863]: supplicant_interface_acquire: assertion `mgr_state == NM_SUPPLICANT_MANAGER_STATE_IDLE' failed
.
.
.
there are thousands of lines like this.
As you see here, it shows this error messages in every two seconds.
btw, i dont have any problems with wicd, netcfg or wpa_supplicant. i never get disconnected while using them. so im sure it's a networkmanager problem.
FYI, my system is up to date.
